The majority of music was composed on the baritone sax, utilizing the complete range & melodic capability of the instrument, stylistically ranging from hard bop to free form.

Arctic Light was founded in autumn 2005. It was a kind of union between a band called “lifeless”, and a project of Martin Hierz (g) and Leon Leder (d). In Winter 2005 Safet Pehlic (k) joined the band. The first show was played in March 2006 in Explosiv in Graz. In summer 2006 they entered the studio to record the first demo “ Decay Into Oblivi.
