The Austrian quartet has played together since 2005 and originates from the middle of the Burgenland and from the Lower Austrian city of Wiener Neustadt. The musical roots go back to so-called Root Rock, to the fertile soil of the village of Großmutschen and to down-to-earth Rock’n’Roll, spiced with a slight portion of Manna Soul. Manna music is self-made with lyrics in German and BBC-English which arise from the flow of consciousness. The name of the band refers to manna which falls from the sky occasionally but also to small shops in the streets where you probably can buy things you would badly need in everyday-life. |
