After 4 years of great live performances a very ambitious music-bar called "Backstage" (located in the south of Vienna) presents a beautiful retrospection in the form of a benefit CD. This compilation features warhorses and newcomers of the Austrian music scene as well as renowned international acts.

The title of the CD is also the motto of the "Backstage", a bar in Wiener Neustadt, Austria,
which is offering live music of the highest level for four years now. All of the artists
represented on this sampler have two things in common: They performed in the "Backstage"
live (some of them several times) and they waived their salary so that the total revenue goes
to the benefit of the vendors of the street paper "Eibisch-Zuckerl". And there are very
well-known musicians who teamed up for this reason: With selected, rarely heard tracks,
national celebrities like Harri Stojka, Peter Ratzenbeck, Hans Theessink, Norbert Schneider,
Mondscheiner, Zweitfrau or Alkbottle, as well as international guests like Leroy Emmanuel's
LMT Connection, Kieran Halpin or Morgan Finlay provide a genuine mixture of different music
styles. |
