„Imagine a narrow and dark street in an old town. It is night. It seems like the perfect place for a murder. No one sees you, no one hears you, you’re completely undisturbed“. With a peaceful voice the singer-songwriter, Marcin Suder, is speaking about the “dark side” of his personality. Such scenarios inspires Suder to songs like Murders In The Streets, the first single form his debut-album Don’t Fear The Daily Grind, which was presented on 5th December 2007 at the legendary U-4 Disco in Vienna in front of 200 guests.
Suder encroaches into the mind and everyday life of an average middle-class person to sing about all the ups and downs with his low and dark voice – packed in catchy melodies. Both, on stage (with a 3- to 6-piece band) and on Don’t Fear The Daily Grind, Suder creates a sarcastic-morbid atmosphere that combines subtle social criticism and high-level entertainment.
One of the highlights in Marcin Suder's career was an opener-show for Adam Green in September 2007 in front of 800 visitors. A club-tour for the springtime 2008 is being planned. |
