Arctic Light was founded in autumn 2005. It was a kind of union between a band called “lifeless”, and a project of Martin Hierz (g) and Leon Leder (d). In Winter 2005 Safet Pehlic (k) joined the band. The first show was played in March 2006 in Explosiv in Graz. In summer 2006 they entered the studio to record the first demo “ Decay Into Oblivi.

Arctic Light was founded in autumn 2005. It was a kind of union between two metal-projects, a band called “lifeless”, founded by Benedikt Palier (v), Jakob Neuburg (g) and Christian Salchenegger (b), and a project of Martin Hierz (g) and Leon Leder (d). To fit into the Style Melodic Metal they began to search for a keyboard player. Flo joined the band but he left after the first rehearsal. In Winter 2005 Safet Pehlic (k) joined the band who was known by Martin from some jamsessions and former bandprojects. The music gained orchestral influence and so the name was changed into „Arctic Light“. The first show was played on 4th March 2006 in JUZ Explosiv in Graz. In summer 2006 they entered the studio to record the first demo “ Decay Into Oblivion” that will be released in winter 2006. |
